Reduce pain and anxiety
With the understanding that “it’s all connected,” we offer a full-body massage using a trauma- and sensory-informed approach that is designed to balance your nervous system and signal to your body it’s safe to relax.
As needed, we offer gentle stretching for nagging neck, shoulder, and lower back pain; Himalayan salt stones to warm, soften, and soothe the tissues; foot reflexology for deep relaxation and stress relief; manual lymph drainage to reduce fluid build-up; and CBD balm or cupping for targeted areas of pain and tightness. The benefits of natural healing
Meet your therapist
Hello, my name is Suzette. You may know me from the aisles of the Wellness department of a local organic market. I retrained from a career as an editor with the goal of providing the benefits of massage I’d received while raising my boys. I believe in the power of massage to support the body’s natural healing properties.
I received my training at the Cayce/Reilly School of Massage in Virginia Beach, and am a member of the Associated Massage & Bodywork Professionals (ABMP). I’m a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in Maryland, certified in manual lymph drainage (MLD) and integrative reflexology.
Breathe a little easier
Why “11 Country Miles”?
When I was a kid, the farmhouse I grew up in was 11 miles away from the main road. Once I went out into the world, I would look forward to the part of the day when I’d turn off the highway onto the tree-shaded road for home. I’d love for you to share that sensation of being able to breathe a little easier when you walk out the door.
